Raiders of the Lost Stash

Hello Steepers,

We’ve been working really hard on developing our own tea blends, and I think we really have some winners! I can’t wait to share them with you all! I’ve been drinking our blends quite a bit lately, so I wanted to sip on something different while researching different ingredients online.

I went to my tea stash (it basically takes up 25% of my kitchen) and dug around looking for something interesting. Then I stumbled upon some Caramel Truffle Herbal Tea from Teavana… I have to tell you, this blend doesn’t even sound remotely familiar, but I guess it was something new I wanted to try during my last Teavana excursion.

Anyway… This blend has cocoa kernels, coconut flakes, cinnamon, etc. (full list can be found here) I only mention this to say that I’m usually not a big fan of tea blends that contain chocolate. I don’t know what it is, but I rarely like them. However, this one is pretty good! I added about a teaspoon of rock sugar to it, and it is really nice dessert tea. I wish I had some tea snacks to go with it! If you want to give it a try, you can order it here!
